The Botany Rail Duplication Project is an Australian Government initiative aimed at improving the capacity and reliability of the freight rail connection to Port Botany to enable more freight to be moved by rail. The project involves the duplication of a 2.9 km section of single line freight track within the Botany Line rail corridor between Mascot and Botany, including construction of a new track, realignment and upgrade of the existing track, new crossovers, new bridges, re-construction of existing bridges and other ancillary works. The project is subject to State Significant Infrastructure planning approval.
WolfPeak provided environmental and planning advisory services to ARTC to develop the Project’s Environmental Impact Statement and obtain the State Significant Infrastructure approval.
