Our staff have skills and experience in environmental planning and management, heritage assessment and advice, auditing, reform strategy, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and management, technical research, media and communication, local government, and project management. We have extensive contacts across government and industry that we can leverage to get the best outcomes for our clients.
Our team comprises environmental and earth scientists, heritage specialists, policy advisors, environmental engineers and planners, natural resource managers, sustainability specialists and environmental auditors. The diversity of our team gives us the ability to solve larger complex systematic issues while also being able to deliver focused parcels of work to meet a specific requirement.
Steve Fermio – Principal Environmental & Earth Scientist
Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the environmental & earth sciences including 15 on major public infrastructure and energy projects in NSW, SA & Qld. He is an accredited environmental auditor & has prepared environmental management plans & obtained approvals & licenses for numerous port, rail, road & energy projects. Steve has been appointed by the NSW Government as the Independent Environmental Representative on one of the WestConnex Project’s in Sydney & as an Independent Environmental Expert on the Wollongong City & Lane Cove Council’s Independent Hearing & Assessment Panels.
Tim Stubbs – Principal Environmental Engineer
Tim’s background spans the public and private sectors in Australia and internationally. His experience is environment, natural resources, water resources, carbon markets, local government and major transport infrastructure project management. Tim’s experience combined with skills developed from operating in senior roles means he can add value immediately, help clients fix problems and capitalise on opportunities.
Derek Low – Principal Environmental Consultant
Derek has 10 years’ environmental and planning experience across the infrastructure, manufacturing and contaminated land sectors. He has prepared and implemented EMPs and environmental assessments, managed environmental compliance and undertaken environmental monitoring. Derek is conversant with NSW environmental legislation and recognised standards and is an experienced certified Environmental Auditor.
Kylie Christian – Heritage Manager
Kylie has over 17 years’ experience in the heritage industry and is a specialist in a range of heritage areas including interpretation strategy, design and implementation, detailed policy development and documentation for conservation management plans, heritage assessments and options analysis. She brings a significant depth and breadth of experience in the management of heritage assets and issues on major infrastructure and community projects in New South Wales, Norfolk Island and across Australia.
Laurenne Coetzee – Principal Environmental Consultant
Laurenne is a passionate environmental scientist with 15 years experience in environmental management. She has solid experience in construction site management having worked on both contractor and client side on a range of major infrastructure and natural resource management projects both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Laurenne’s focus is delivering timely, practical, best for project outcomes with a conscientious approach to environmental compliance and maintaining strong respectful relationships between project clients and regulators. Laurenne is also familiar with the delivery of various requirements for sustainability on major projects and assisting clients implement these processes in a timely manner.
Hadi Khairuddin – Senior Environmental Consultant
Hadi has worked in the environmental field since 2007 as both an Environmental Scientist and Consultant, across the private and government sectors. During that time, he has built a solid foundation in the assessment and management of noise and vibration, and contaminated land. He has developed impact assessments, preliminary and detailed site investigations, and remediation action plans. Hadi has proven ability in providing specialist technical advice to large infrastructure projects and high risk development sites, is able to navigate complex issues and deliver clear positive outcomes for clients.
Roisin Batch – Senior Environmental Consultant
Roisin Batch is a skilled senior environmental professional who has experience in applying best-practice environmental management and sustainability in the construction industry at both corporate and major project levels. She has developed, implemented and refined environmental management approvals and systems and works well within delivery teams to achieve Key Performance Indicators and objectives. Roisin’s passion is driven by the complex and challenging nature of environmental management for large linear infrastructure projects.
Rosemary Snowdon – Senior Environmental Consultant
Rosemary is an environmental professional with a diverse range of skills. Her main areas of expertise cover EIA and infrastructure environmental management. She has extensive experience in both public and private sectors, having worked on projects for local government, RMS, Sydney Water and private developers. Rosemary is also an Associate Auditor.
Jessica Kennedy – Senior Environmental Consultant
Jessica has 15 years plus environment and planning experience on major infrastructure projects in NSW, Qld and the UK. She has worked in senior roles for both the public and private sectors with proven ability in managing environmental assessments, obtaining licenses and permits, implementing on site systems and controls, managing project compliance and identifying continual improvement opportunities in her field.
David Stubbs – Environmental Consultant
David is an experienced environmental consultant with over five years experience in the areas of environmental management and forestry. He has extensive experience in environmental management on major civil infrastructure projects including the Northern Beaches Hospital Roads project. He has managed large forestry plantations across Australia and has also worked internationally managing an international stadium rally racing team. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management and a Masters in Environmental Management and Physical Planning.
Natalie Jongebloed – Environmental Consultant
Natalie has worked on a number of major construction projects both in Australia and overseas. She has over 5 years’ experience across both government and private sectors. Her on site construction experience has given her the ability to build team and stakeholder relationships to deliver project outcomes successfully. Natalie has worked on a major rail project from the tender stage right through to the completion stage on a construction site. This has allowed her to have a good understanding of how a construction site operates both in the office and on the field. Her environmental monitoring/assessment skills, combined with her communication skills, allow her to successfully achieve environmental compliance. She is proficient in document preparation, in particular for EPBC Act Referrals and REF’s.
Sarah Harris – Environmental Planning Coordinator
Sarah is a senior environmental planner with over 10 years’ experience in environmental assessment and approvals under Commonwealth, NSW, QLD and Victorian legislation. Sarah has significant experience in environmental planning and compliance on major linear infrastructure projects. Sarah is proficient at resolving planning and construction problems in highly regulated and community sensitive environments.
Jamie Fermio – Environmental Planner
Jamie is an astute Environmental Planner, specialising in statutory and strategic planning advice and environmental assessment. She has extensive experience in preparing development applications and environmental impact assessments, providing planning compliance and due diligence advice and project management.
Through her experience, Jamie has developed a comprehensive understanding of planning processes in New South Wales. She has successfully led several large-scale projects with complex environmental and planning regulatory challenges and extensive community and agency consultation requirements from the preliminary project scoping stages through to construction.
Talitha Judge – Senior Environmental Consultant
Talitha is an environmental professional with 11 years’ experience working on major road, rail and pipeline infrastructure project sites and undertaking contaminated land and hazardous materials assessments. She excels at solving environmental issues and developing positive relationships within construction teams, clients and community stakeholders. Talitha has worked on a number of infrastructure projects including the Pacific Highway Upgrade, North West Rail Link and GLNG Upstream Infrastructure Works. Her key areas of specialisation include erosion and sediment control, water management and land contamination.
L’Oreal Pierce – Marketing Manager / Office Manager
L’Oreal is a Marketer experienced in Brand, Wholesale and Retail Marketing, CRM, Event Management, Advertising and PR and Social Media. She has had broad experience over 12 years in the fashion and automotive industries. With strong administrative experience, she capably manages the back of house to ensure the team is productive, efficient and happy. L’Oreal is adept at making things happen and keeping WolfPeak’s office running smoothly.
Leisa Ferguson – Accounts Manager
Whilst Leisa started her career in Natural Resource Management in western Queensland her role for the past 9 years has been Office Manager of a small business in regional NSW. Her role with WolfPeak is to manage the many and varied Client accounts, bookkeeping and general Office administration in the Wauchope Office.
