WolfPeak was engaged by the client during the Development Application phase. The site is a Victorian Terrace c1871, which as part of a group, is an item of local heritage significance. The terrace has been derelict for over 10 years, with multiple media articles discussing the state of the building, including vermin infestations.

The design brief was to return the terrace into a family home. This includes conservation works to the existing terrace and a contemporary rear addition. The client had limited knowledge of their heritage obligations. Kylie Christian (Heritage Manager) and Gavin Patton (Heritage Consultant) were able to explain requirements for alterations and additions to heritage items. Design advice included options for materials and conservation methods for remaining significant fabric. After a site visit, WolfPeak completed a Statement of Heritage Impact with a very tight turnaround. The project is currently progressing through approval assessment.
